"During a CNN debate at the height of the GOP primary, Mitt Romney was asked, in the context of the Joplin disaster and FEMA's cash crunch, whether the agency should be shuttered so that states can individually take over responsibility for disaster response."

My wife and I had a date night on Saturday; we went to Texas Roadhouse and had an awesome meal, then traveled home to rent a movie on Amazon. It was between Cabin in the Woods and Rock of Ages. I ennie-meanie-moed it, and got Rock of Ages. Dammit.

Mike: I can't speak for Rock of Ages, but you missed a good one.

I am not going to knock "Rock of Ages", it is a somewhat funny "musical" set to 80's hair metal, but it...well, it is not Jean Renoir or Andrei Tarkovsky. Just a goofy popcorn flick. Worth one watch I suppose.

I am a horror fan, and have a few co-workers at DISH who are also fans of the genre and they love this movie, but I still have not watched ‘Cabin in the Woods.’ I’m adding this movie to my DISH Blockbuster @home account. The shipping is fast, and once I’m done I can return it to the store for another movie in my queue instead of waiting for it in the mail. Any movie with Chris Hemsworth has got to be a winner.

Micheele: you are going to like this one. If this is spam, I like it.

Mike

Doc,

Watched it last night. I enjoyed it; I didn't take the same message out of it that you did, but it flipped horror movie conventions on its head wonderfully. Two thumbs up!

Ken Blanchard

Thanks, Mike. As for messages, I keep hearing them from my toaster.
