Apparently my basketball reference was lost on Ken. I was referring to the quote from Obama, who famously said, before his 2004 DNC speech I believe, "I'm Lebron baby. I got game."
Let's use a football example. If we call last night's debate the third quarter, Romney clearly outscored Obama. What we don't know yet is whether he scored enough to tie or even pull ahead of Obama. We won't know that for a week, perhaps. Once we know that we'll know what has to happen for each side in the fourth quarter. I am still of an opinion that Obama will pull it out in the end.
I'm not sure the football (hand-egg) reference will help the good doctor. I would try a baseball reference i.e. Romney hit a two run home run. The question now is does it make the score 3-2 or 10-2. I have a feeling that Romney's debate home run may be too little too late.
