Dr. Blanchard,
You have mentioned before that your father served in the Pacific in World War II. Please thank him for his service to our country. My grandfather was in the Navy from 1943-1946, and his ship was one of the last ones sunk in the war. I have been lucky enough to attend three ship reunions with my grandparents, with the most recent being last summer, the men I was privleged to meet are the most humble and herioc you will find.
