Except for Delmon Young's grand slam, it was an ugly win. The Twins were up eight to nothing and then managed to give up seven runs. The other ugly thing is that I am now in the existentially troubling position of rooting for the White Socks. But baseball does drama and tension better than any other sport, and the AL Central has that in spades. I believe. I believe. It's silly, but I believe. Stop, Uncle Fred! Stop!

At least it's better to have to root for the White Sox than it is to have to root for the Yankees, as was the case in years past.
