Are you wondering what to think about the so-called "stimulus package"? There are many resources online to help. You can actually read the stimulus package here. Timothy Carney gives an excellent summary to the content and theory behind the stimulus. He is very clear and concise. Bruce Bartlett gives a nice introduction to the Keynesian theory behind the proposal and the criticisms of that theory. And finally, here you can read Yuval Levin suggesting the real motivation behind this bill is to spend a lot of money on Democrat priorities, not to stimulate the economy. How else to explain Nancy Pelosi's lame (and somewhat disturbing) defense of the inclusion of expansive funding for birth control in the bill? How does that stimulate the economy? That's probably why Democrats hastily dropped such spending from the bill. But the point is made. This is just one example of loading the bill with Democrat wish list items that wouldn't otherwise get funded but are now justified as "economic stimulus."
