Way back in May I posted on Barack Obama as a Chicago politician. I cited a David Newquist post on a similar topic. I said that Prof. Newquist was wrong when he claimed Obama was fiscal conservative as an Illinois legislator.
In an Internet quirk I can't figure out, just today I received an email from Prof. Newquist on my gmail account that Prof. Newquist wrote in May. He wrote:
I said Paul Simon was a fiscal consevative. I did not characterize Obama's record beyond his efforts to bridge partisan divides.
If you go to the link above you'll see that Prof. Newquist is right and I was wrong. About four months late, but there's the correction. My apologies to Prof. Newquist for its lateness.
