This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the challenge to Indiana's voter ID law, 6-3: "The Supreme Court ruled Monday that states can require voters to produce photo identification without violating their constitutional rights, validating Republican-inspired voter ID laws." Seems reasonable to me. Justice Stevens, joined by Kennedy and Roberts, announced the judgment of the Court. Justices Scalia, Thomas, and Alito concurred with the judgment, while Justices Souter, Breyer, and Ginsberg dissented. The opinions are here (PDF alert).
