Bob Marley's Birthday

And I almost missed it.  I like Reggae a lot, though I don't know it very well.  My knowledge of Bob Marley's music is mostly limited to the Legends collection.  But his fame did a lot to promote a very solid musical tradition.  I would add that No, Woman, No Cry, and Zion Train are among my favorite songs.  Marley's Rastafarian religion, combining what looks to be a very loose old testament mythology with a whole lot of marijuana smoke, doesn't make much sense to me; but it provides a powerful context for much of the music.  Happy Birthday Bob.
