My family and I went to the movie We Are Marshall yesterday and, to anyone considering it, I highly recommend going. On November 14, 1970, the Marshall Football team, except four injured starters and the freshman, were killed in a plane crash while returning from their game against the East Carolina University Pirates. The film centralized around the community's recovery and the film was truly heartfelt, the acting superb, and is probably one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Give Michael McBride's review of the movie a read, which is better than anything I can muster up at the moment.
