Protest Outside of Herseth's Office

Argus Leader:

The South Dakota Peace & Justice Center members will hold a memorial Thursday  for all those who have died in the Iraq war.

Honored will be the men, women and children civilians; Iraqi soldiers; soldiers from other countries; civilian contractors, and the 3,000 U.S. soldiers.

The names of the deceased soldiers from South Dakota will be read.

The events are scheduled as follows for Thursday:

4 to 6 p.m. at U.S. Rep. Stephanie Herseth's office, Sioux Falls;

Noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at the U.S. Post Office in Brookings;

Noon to 2 p.m. at Herseth's office in Rapid city;
7 p.m., Presentation Convent chapel in Aberdeen.

Also, there will be a meeting from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Third and Dakota in Huron.
