Pictures from Arkansas

I risk turning SDP into a Blanchard family scrapbook, but I did get this cool digital camera from Santa Klaus, and I hope soon to turn its powers from evil to good.  I intend to spice up SDP with occasional photos of Aberdeen and the surrounding area, for the benefit of our expatriot readers.  Meanwhile, here are some images from my hometown below the Mason-Dixon line.

Here is a shot from my old backyard, of a flag flying in a neighbor's yard. 

Here is a shot I was a bit proud of.  I pointed the camera straight down by accident, and saw this in the view finder.  It is just the old driveway, with an oak leaf on it.  I think the color and texture are worth a glance.
