I happened to catch Floyd Landis on ESPN this afternoon. He seems serious about fighting the charges against him. Pat Reusse in the Star Tribune points out that Landis passed various tests during the Tour and only had an unusually high amount of testosterone in one test. It happened to be the day of Landis's remarkable recovery in the mountains. Of course steroids would only aid someone over the long run, not just for one day. We'll have to wait and see how this story develops.
Update: Todd Zywicki at Volokh has an interesting post on performance enhancing drugs, especially reagarding Barry Bons.
