Professor Schaff blogs below on the death of former Congressman Tim Penny's wife. Some years ago I attended a meeting of local Democrats at the invitation of my colleague, Jerry Rosonke. The speaker was Tim Penny. He was short, and I admire that in a man. He was also thin, and may have been one of the few members of Congress I could wrestle to the ground. I also admired the fact that he was a fiscal conservative. Indeed, he was much more so than the current Republican Congress and President. He also seemed to be a genuinely decent person. Having been married for almost 25 years, the thought of losing a wife is terrifying. God bless Tim.
